Tongyi & National Short Track Speed Skating Championships

From January 1-3, 2026, the 2025-2026 National Short Track Speed Skating Championships were held at Beijing's National Speed Skating Oval "Ice Ribbon". As the event's sponsor and professional construction service provider, Tongyi successfully completed the innovative construction of on-site ice-side temporary spectator stands, delivering a safe and high-quality immersive viewing experience.

As a key platform for testing domestic athletes' capabilities and preparing for international competitions, the Championships sought to enhance viewing experience by adding ice-side stands – a task with strict requirements for safety, professionalism and timeliness. With rich experience in large-scale event services, solid technical strength and a sound service system, Tongyi successfully undertook and executed the project in collaboration with the organizing committee.

To meet event standards, Tongyi deployed a professional team for on-site surveys and customized a construction plan based on venue structure, viewing needs and project features, ensuring stability while minimizing impact on existing facilities.

During construction, Tongyi strictly followed safety norms and event standards, refined processes and clarified responsibilities. The team overcame challenges like limited space and low temperatures to advance work efficiently, conducting multiple rigorous safety inspections to safeguard spectators.

Tongyi completed the project on schedule. The temporary stands, with sufficient capacity and rational layout, allowed spectators to closely experience the event's excitement, greatly boosting immersion and interaction. Operating stably throughout the event without accidents, the stands were highly recognized by the organizing committee, athletes and spectators.
