Tongyi Supports the Successful Conclusion of the 2024 Hangzhou Canoe Super Cup

From October 11 to 13, 2024, the 2024 ICF Hangzhou Canoe Super Cup was successfully held at the Fuyang Water Sports Centre. As the world’s first top-tier international event integrating four major canoeing disciplines, it attracted more than 530 athletes from 36 countries and regions. Serving as the core service provider for the temporary grandstand project, Tongyi Sports successfully completed the full-process services of design, construction and on-site operation support for the grandstands in Functional Zones A and B.

Built along the Fuchun River, Zones A and B were tailored to different competition events, requiring guaranteed independent viewing experiences and smooth circulation routes. Tongyi Sports conducted a precise pre-event site survey, adopted a modular and lightweight design, scientifically planned the grandstand slope, row spacing and evacuation routes, and strengthened anti-slip and drainage measures for the water-adjacent venue to ensure all-round safety.

Faced with the challenges of a tight preparation cycle and simultaneous construction across multiple areas, the team adopted a zoned construction and precise scheduling model, strictly inspected material quality, and completed the construction and handover as scheduled. A special team conducted 24-hour patrols during the event to ensure the stable operation of the grandstands, winning unanimous recognition from the event organizers and spectators. This practice demonstrated Tongyi Sports’ strength in water sports event services. Going forward, the company will continue to deepen its expertise in this field and empower cultural and sports events.
